1月15日，据新华国际消息：英国外交部确认，已暂时关闭英国驻伊朗大使馆。据悉，使馆的英方工作人员已暂时撤离。英国外交部表示，如果其公民在伊朗遇到困难，“英国政府将无法提供实质性帮助”。
