1月13日，据报道，现代汽车集团在一份声明中宣布，已任命曾在英伟达和特斯拉从事自动驾驶技术研发与商业化工作的前高管Minwoo Park为其先进汽车平台部门（AVP）新负责人，以加强现代汽车在软件定义汽车和基于自动驾驶的车辆软件领域的竞争力，并加速产品开发进程。
现代汽车集团表示，Park将同时兼任42dot公司的首席执行官。42dot是现代汽车旗下专注于自动驾驶技术及其他移动出行平台开发的子公司。
