Companies with more than 10,000 employees were the only firm-size group to record growth in newly posted job openings last year, according to data from workplace networking platform Maimai.
The data show that newly posted roles at companies with over 10,000 employees rose 2.33% year on year in 2025. By contrast, other company size categories saw declines. Among large-scale firms, DJI, Didi and Xiaomi recorded relatively strong increases in new postings.
Pay adjustments were also more common at companies of this size. Employees receiving internal pay rises accounted for 17.44% at firms with more than 10,000 staff, significantly higher than at smaller companies, the data show.
Meanwhile, technology companies including ByteDance and Ant Group listed multiple urgent openings on the platform, with roles such as BI data analysts, overseas business project managers and data development specialists offering annual salaries exceeding 1 million yuan.
