Allegiant将以约15亿美元的价格，通过现金和股票形式收购低成本航空公司Sun Country。
根据交易条款，Sun Country的股东每股将获得0.1557股Allegiant普通股和4.10美元现金，隐含价值为每股18.89美元。
Allegiant首席执行官格雷格·安德森表示，两家航空公司之间的航线网络重叠度低，且Sun Country与亚马逊的合同飞行业务将继续，他对交易获得批准充满信心。
此交易将成为对特朗普政府处理航空业合并案的考验，此前拜登政府曾基于反垄断理由阻止了JetBlue对Spirit Airlines的收购，但批准了Alaska Air对Hawaiian Airlines的收购。Allegiant在去年秋季末与Sun Country接洽。
