马杜罗：我是被绑架的！我无罪！

当地时间5日，遭美国强行控制的委内瑞拉总统马杜罗及其妻子，在美国纽约南区联邦地区法院首次出庭，拒绝美方所谓“犯罪”指控，并表示“我无罪”。

美东时间当天12时许（北京时间6日凌晨1时），马杜罗在纽约南区联邦地区法院首次出庭接受庭审。马杜罗被美方指控犯有“毒品恐怖主义阴谋罪、可卡因走私阴谋罪、持有机枪及破坏性装置罪，以及针对美国的持有机枪及破坏性装置阴谋罪”。

美东时间5日8时许，马杜罗及其夫人被全副武装的警卫从纽约布鲁克林一处拘留中心带出，随后经直升机等转运，抵达纽约南区联邦地区法院。

马杜罗在法庭上表示，自己是“被绑架的”“我无罪”，拒绝美方对其一切指控。马杜罗强调，他仍然是委内瑞拉总统。面对美方指控，马杜罗的妻子西利娅·弗洛雷斯同样表示自己无罪。

"I am innocent, I am not guilty," Maduro told the court, adding that he was seized at his home in Caracas and that he remains the president of Venezuela, according to media inside the courtroom.

Maduro's wife, Cilia Flores, said at court that she is completely innocent of the charges brought against her by the United States, according to media reports.

The next hearing on the case against Maduro is scheduled for March 17.

在当天庭审开始前，美国纽约南区联邦地区法院外已聚集大批民众，现场气氛紧张。

总台记者在现场看到，法院周边安保明显加强，多辆警车停靠在路口布防。民众在法院外广场及周边街道聚集，他们举着“释放马杜罗”“不要向委内瑞拉开战”等标语横幅，不时高呼口号，对美方行动表示不满。

Large crowds of protesters gathered outside the courthouse, many voicing opposition to the US action against Venezuela. Protest signs read "USA hands off Venezuela", "No US war on Venezuela", "US hands off Venezuela oil" and "Free Pres. Nicolas Maduro."
