据河南发布，12月26日凌晨，随州至信阳高速正式通车，随州到信阳的车程从两小时缩短至50分钟。
随州至信阳高速公路项目起于随州市广水市马坪镇，经余店、关庙、郝店、蔡河等镇，过三潭，于省界的平靖关附近对接河南省信阳至随州高速公路。项目全长44.965公里，采用双向四车道高速公路标准建设，设计行车速度100公里每小时，路基宽度26米，概算总投资60.27亿元。
