上海徐汇区建襄小学创始人之一、名誉校长吴佩芳，因病在上海逝世，享年95岁。12月23日，社会各界一起送别这位新中国第一所民办小学的创办者，不少年过古稀的学生自发前来，追忆 “弄堂小学”岁月，缅怀60多年师生情。
