12月23日，"莆田12岁女孩被虐致死案"改判，生父刘江从5年半改判13年半。2020年以来，琪琪继母许金花对其监护三名未成年被害人实施虐待，23年她将琪琪手脚捆绑关在卫生间内持续17天，实施多种伤害行为。
生父刘江明知此事却放任不管，且帮助网购约1600片泻药给琪琪服用。
