2012年离开亚视，后于2016年重返TVB。2017年，他凭借《不懂撒娇的女人》中“游俊杰”（游生）一角成功崛起，成为标志性角色。此后长期参演《爱·回家之开心速递》。
2024年因膝盖软骨严重磨损接受手术治疗。2025年，他主演新剧《虚拟情人》，并因收养照料早产小猫引发关注。他于2020年与前港姐及儿童节目主持张洁莲结婚，两人是“爱猫夫妻”，决定不生育子女，将猫咪视为家人。
