12月9日，澳网官方公布了2026澳网女子单打正赛入围名单，世界第一萨巴伦卡领衔，凯斯开启卫冕之旅。郑钦文、王欣瑜和张帅直接入围正赛，王雅繁、卡·普利斯科娃、萨王凯使用保护排名出战，琼斯、曼德利克和迪亚斯已经锁定外卡。 作为新赛季的第一项大满贯赛事，澳网将在1月18日-2月1日进行。
