香港警方11月27日宣布，因大埔宏福苑发生火灾，为保障公众安全及确保救援工作进行，警务处将于该范围设立限制飞行区。时间为11月27日上午8时至11月30日上午8时。警方提醒市民，如在未获授权下于限制飞行区放飞小型无人机，即属违法，最高可被判罚款10万元及监禁2年。（央视新闻）
