当地时间11月26日，2026年米兰-科尔蒂纳冬奥会圣火火种采集仪式在奥林匹亚考古博物馆内举行。仪式上，现场播放最高女祭司11月24日在古奥林匹亚考古遗址中的赫拉神庙前成功采集到火种、并点燃采火火炬的视频画面。米兰冬奥会圣火成功点燃。
圣火点燃后，将先在希腊境内传递，并于12月4日在雅典正式移交给米兰冬奥会组委会。（央视新闻）
