据中国节能消息，当地时间2025年11月21日下午，中国地质与莫桑比克水务管理局在马普托正式签署马普托省穆洛塔那区供水项目合作协议。该项目合同额1.7亿梅迪卡（折合267.48万美元）。该项目由中国地质南部非洲分公司承建。根据项目规划，中国地质将承担12公里供水主管线铺设、泵站建设及30公里次级供水管网配套工程。
