11月25日，中新网援引日本共同社报道，日本政府相关人士称，当地时间25日，美国总统特朗普与日本首相高市早苗通电话。

据报道，当被问及通话中，双方是否谈及其在国会发表的涉台错误言论时，高市早苗未明确做出回答，仅表示“细节不便透露”。
报道指出，高市早苗表示，此次通话是特朗普方面提出的。她还称，“日美双方已确认将保持紧密合作关系”。
