总台记者当地时间11月23日获悉，据尼日利亚基督教协会消息，该国近期发生学生绑架事件后，已有50名被绑架学生成功逃脱并与父母团聚。
11月21日，尼日利亚一所天主教学校有超过300名学生和教职员工被绑架，这是该国有记录以来最严重的大规模绑架事件之一。
