11月21日，美团宣布未来五年将投入100亿元构建更全面的骑手保障体系。在北京、深圳、重庆等地，美团推出了“骑手公寓”，为骑手提供性价比高、安全性强的保障性住房。针对骑手的家庭保障需求，美团将大病关怀金保障从骑手及其子女延伸至配偶、父母，并扩大袋鼠宝贝公益计划对骑手子女的保障范围。
