11月16日，王曼昱连续两届战胜孙颖莎，成为第四位全运会卫冕的女单选手。
王曼昱成为全运会历史上继焦志敏、邓亚萍、张怡宁之后，又一位在乒乓球女单项目上实现卫冕的选手。
王曼昱首次获得全运会女单冠军是在2021年第十四届陕西全运会上，当时她以4-0的比分横扫孙颖莎。
