江苏张家港通报“文昌阁火灾”

11月13日，江苏省苏州市张家港市文昌阁火灾事故调查组发布情况通报。

The investigation team examining a fire at the Wenchang Pavilion in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu province, issued an official statement on Thursday.

通报称，11月12日，张家港市凤凰镇凤凰山文昌阁发生火灾，无人员伤亡，未对周边林区造成影响。经初步调查，此次火灾系游客使用香烛不慎引发。

According to the statement, the fire broke out on Wednesday at the Wenchang Pavilion on Phoenix Mountain, or Fenghuangshan in Chinese, in Zhangjiagang's Fenghuang town. No casualties were reported, and the surrounding forest area was not affected. A preliminary investigation found that the blaze was accidentally triggered by a visitor mishandling incense and candles.

文昌阁位于凤凰山景区，于2008年1月由凤凰镇立项建设，建筑采用钢筋混凝土框架，高度约23米，2009年10月建成后，委托邻近的永庆寺管理，阁内未收藏文物。

相关史料记载，始建于梁武帝时期的“永庆寺”历经多次兴废。1993年当地新建一寺庙时，考虑到历史上“永庆寺”的知名度，遂亦定名为永庆寺。寺庙内所有建筑系现代新建，无古代遗构，与相传“南朝四百八十寺”之一的“永庆寺”无关联。

Wenchang Pavilion, a 23-meter-tall reinforced concrete structure completed in 2009, contains no cultural relics and is managed by the nearby Yongqing Temple. The current Yongqing Temple, built in 1993, is a modern reconstruction and has no historical connection to the ancient temple that once bore the same name, according to the statement.

下一步，张家港市将根据调查结论依法依规追究责任，并将深刻吸取教训，举一反三加强各类场所的消防安全工作，全面消除各类风险隐患，坚决杜绝此类事故发生。

Authorities in Zhangjiagang said they will pursue accountability in line with the investigation's findings and strengthen fire safety measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
