11月12日19时，北京怀柔长哨营满族乡、延庆石家关长城等地，夜空出现淡粉色与翠绿色交织的极光，持续近20分钟。
当天晚上，夜空被一抹淡粉色和浅绿色的极光点亮，绚烂美丽，宛如置身童话世界，很多市民拍摄到这一罕见极光。
