据希腊媒体报道，自11月10日起至12月10日，塞萨洛尼基地铁将暂停运营，以便完成与Kalamaria新延伸段的连接工程。
据悉，全新M1公交线路（Nea Elvetia–New Railway Station）将于11月10日启用，在停运期间全程保障乘客出行。该路线途经25 March、Hippocrates, Theagenes, PAMAK, AHEPA, Kamara, Agia Sofia, Antigonidon, and Democracy Square，每个方向共设11个站点。返程路线相同。
线路将由OASTH公司17辆巴士运营，周一至周四及周日运营时间为05:00–00:30，周五及周六为05:00–01:00。
为确保线路全覆盖，雅典公共交通公司已通过缩减运营许可证数量及减少休息日实现运力保障。同时，3路(IKEA – N.S.S.),31 (Voulgari – KTEL) 以及39(Kifissia – Courts)将增派班次分流部分客流。
