A 3D penguin wearing sunglasses has recently gone viral on social media, captivating netizens with its smooth dance moves, subtle smile, and catchy background music.
Initially shared as static meme images, the character truly exploded in popularity after a blogger used AI tools to generate videos of it dancing. Thewhimsical, slightly "unhinged" charm of the animations quickly captured the internet’s imagination.
Many initially mistook the penguin for a character from
Madagascar, but it actually originates from a series of stock images created by artist "3Dalia", who uploaded them to Shutterstock in 2014. In Chinese stock libraries, the character is named "3D Wilhelm Tell Penguin".
