近日，记者从甘肃省自然资源厅了解到，甘肃省平凉市崆峒区成功探获一处大型冶镁白云岩矿床，资源总量达7亿吨，标志着该区域在矿产勘查方面取得重大突破。
该矿床位于崆峒区转马台一带。该矿具有规模巨大、埋藏较浅、倾角平缓、厚度稳定等特点，便于露天开采的优势。
