广州大剧院意大利双戏周文化对谈
意大利地下剧团Sotterraneo热衷于用剧场表达思考，也用剧场的方式引发思考——他们从所关心的思想观点、社会议题引发灵感、进行创作，以互动性的方式邀请观众一起进入“思想实验室”。
2025年11月3日晚，广州大剧院“交一天时光给艺术·2025剧乐无穷”在剧场之外先行开启一场思想辩驳，特邀意大利地下剧团三位导演及戏剧构作萨拉·博纳文图拉，克劳迪欧·奇里，丹尼尔·维拉，及华南理工大学新闻传播学副教授孙珉，哲学博士，暨南大学马克思主义学院副教授何涛，就地下剧团即将在广州大剧院上演的两部作品《噼！啪！嘭！》和《历史的天使》中的议题展开讨论。
活动中，不同领域的创作者、学者就信息爆炸时代人与科技的关系、个人与历史的联结、历史观的塑造与思考等话题展开讨论，看似深奥的话题却与每个人的生活息息相关。
如同萨拉所言，地下剧团的创作并非讨论对错，而是将问题抛向观众，与他们共同思考。
《噼！啪！嘭！》与《历史的天使》更像是两场“剧场游戏”，演员将邀请观众互动，用充满趣味性的表演形式，反思时代症结与思想议题。

此次地下剧团将携两部精彩作品《噼！啪！嘭！》与《历史的天使》登陆广州大剧院，能否简单介绍一下这两部作品？
This time you are presenting two brilliant shows with Guangzhou Opera House,
Overload and The Angel of History, could you tell us briefly what the two shows are about?
《噼！啪！嘭！》是关于数字革命，我们看到了新技术如何正在深刻地改变我们作为人类的沟通与互动方式：我们都沉浸在一场变革之中，这场变革不仅影响着我们的工具，更在人类学和社会学层面上影响着我们共同生活的方式，我们想要探讨这个问题。
Overload is a show about the digital revolution, about how new technologies are profoundly changing the way we communicate and interact as human beings: we are all immersed in a transformation that doesn't just affect our tools, but also impacts how we live together on an anthropological and sociological level.
《历史的天使》则通过文本、编舞和视觉画面的蒙太奇手法，讲述了数十个荒诞的历史轶事，跨越了从公元前一万年至今的不同时代与文化，呈现了某些人曾深信不疑的、与现实相悖的虚假故事和叙事的种种情形。
The Angel of History is a show that recounts dozens of absurd historical anecdotes, circumstances from different eras and cultures in which some believed false stories, narratives at odds with reality, moments spanning from 10,000 BC to the present day, through a montage of texts, choreography, and visions.

We can see some consistent thinking in the philosophy behind the two shows, could you share with us what inspired you to the creation of both shows, what is the idea you want to deliver?
《噼！啪！嘭！》的核心是一位美国作家：大卫·福斯特·华莱士，他试图发表一场演讲，却不断被观众可以选择激活的"隐藏内容"所打断。通过邀请观众与我们一同"玩耍"的方式，我们试图去反思人们持续缩短的注意力持续时间，以及由此导致的我们处理复杂思维能力的下降。
At the center of Overload is the character of an American writer, David Foster Wallace, who attempts to deliver a speech while continuously interrupted by “hidden content” that the audience can choose to activate. By inviting the audience to "play" with us, we seek to reflect on the ever-decreasing of our attention-span and, therefore, our ability to process complex thoughts.
而《历史的天使》的灵感源自哲学家瓦尔特·本雅明，以及历史学家尤瓦尔·赫拉利和神经科学家丹尼尔·卡尼曼，我们想要探讨我们智人如何不断将现实转化为故事，然后即便在现实与故事相悖时，依然执着于这些叙事。人类既是会讲故事的生物，却也容易困在自己编织的故事牢笼里。
The Angel of History, on the other hand, draws inspiration from philosopher Walter Benjamin, as well as historian Yuval Noah Harari and neuroscientist Daniel Kahneman, to discuss how we Sapiens continuously transform reality into a story and then continue to believe the stories even when reality contradicts them: we are creatures capable of narrating, but also of remaining trapped in our narratives.

How did you work together as a group?
我们是一个创作集体，因此我们以非常扁平化的方式工作。比如一般我们没有现成的剧本，而是从零开始，先提出一个萦绕在我们时代的问题，然后通过即兴创作、文本写作和视觉构思，尝试将整个研究过程转化为一部动态、讽刺且有趣的戏剧创作，它能够即时与观众沟通，同时又不失深度与复杂性。
We're a collective, so we work in a very horizontal way. We always start from scratch, without a ready-made text. We pose ourselves a problem, a question that pervades our time, and then, by improvising, writing, and conceiving images, we try to transform the entire research process into a theatrical creation that is dynamic, ironic, and entertaining, capable of communicating with the audience immediately without losing depth and complexity.

"Sotterraneo"风格？
What do you think make the shows very Sotterraneo?
节奏感、反讽与思想，同时兼具高度的通俗易懂，以及让观众能够触及不同层面的意义并自由解读作品内涵的可能性。恰如意大利哲学家、作家翁贝托·埃科所说的，我们的作品是一种"开放式作品"。最后，我们乐于让认知性与娱乐性在同一部作品中共存。
Rhythm, irony, and profound thought, yet at the same time highly accessible, plus the possibility of reaching different levels of meaning and freely interpreting the show's meaning. Ours shows are "open works," as the Italian philosopher and writer Umberto Eco taught. Finally, we like the idea that cognitive effort and entertainment can coexist in the same show.

What expectations did you have for
Guangzhou audiences?
是的，这是我们第一次来广州。我们之前已在上海演出过三次，但中国是一个幅员辽阔的国家，所以我们确信在未来几天里会发现许多差异和独特性。然而，对我们来说，无论在世界何处，目标始终如一：那就是超越文化差异，建立连接，通过探讨不仅仅是意大利或欧洲的、中国或亚洲的，而是全球性的议题，来与全世界的观众对话。我们生活在一个需要全球视角和广泛文化交流的时代：这是我们人类避免灾难的唯一途径。
Yes, it's our first time in Guangzhou. We've been performing in Shanghai three times now, but China is a vast and complex country, so we're sure there are differences, nuances, and specificities we'll discover in the next days. For us, however, the goal is always the same, where-ever in the world: to establish a connection beyond cultural differences, to be able to speak to audiences around the world by addressing issues that are not just Italian or European, Chinese or Asian, but global. We live in a time that demands a global perspective and broad cultural exchange: it's the only pathway our species can take to avoid disaster.
