近日，国家林业和草原局正式将山东省济南市章丘区白云湖湿地列入国家重要湿地名录。面积1354.36公顷的白云湖湿地，成为此批次山东省唯一入选的湿地。
白云湖湿地拥有植物223种、鸟类145种、鱼类22种。每年10月至次年3月，白云湖湿地就会成为大规模候鸟的“驿站”。
