当地时间4日，以色列国防部长卡茨宣布，任命前国防部法律顾问伊泰·奥菲尔为以军新任军事检察长。该任命是在原任军事检察长托默-耶鲁沙尔米因以军虐囚泄密丑闻辞职后作出的。
奥菲尔曾于2017年至2024年担任以色列国防部法律顾问，此前其曾在以色列和美国的私营法律领域工作。（央视新闻）
