10月30日，微信支付正式宣布接通“泰国国家支付系统 PromptPay”，这意味着用户现在前往泰国，只需打开微信支付，扫描带有“PromptPay”标识的二维码，就能直接完成支付，无需额外切换支付工具。
据介绍，PromptPay目前已覆盖全泰国餐饮、零售、景点、交通等场景内的数百万商户。
