10月28日，厚街镇中心区城中村改造项目迎来重要节点——首批私人住宅类拆迁物业正式完成移交。截至10月27日，已有119栋房屋完成签约。将迎来大规模拆除。根据改造规划，除安置地块外，其他地块主要为居住用地，片区内将规划幼儿园、停车楼等相关配套。
