10月26日，WTA500东京站决赛，5号种子本西奇以2-0（6-2、6-3）完胜6号种子诺斯科娃，斩获赛季第二冠、职业生涯第10冠。这是瑞士名将的第八个WTA硬地冠军，也是第七个500赛冠军。
值得一提的是，东京赛冠军连续两年归属奥运冠军，去年则是中国名将郑钦文。
