北京时间10月18日，据英格兰第八级别球队Anstey Nomads消息，40岁的莱斯特城旧将纽金特复出加盟球队，担任球员兼教练。
纽金特出生于1985年5月2日，曾在利物浦青训梯队效力，职业生涯效力过伯里、普雷斯顿、朴茨茅斯、伯恩利、莱斯特城、米德尔斯堡、德比郡、特兰米尔等球队。
纽金特2008年还曾入选过英格兰代表队，在欧洲杯预选赛中替补出场1次并打进1球。
