10月16日，据报道，美国叫车软件运营商Lyft表示，计划于明年下半年在多伦多市中心新建技术中心，这将成为其继旧金山之后的第二大技术枢纽。Lyft表示，该办公室将坐落于多伦多金融区，随着公司在加拿大市场的拓展，将容纳数百名从事工程技术、产品开发、运营管理及市场营销的员工。
