10月14日，有网民发视频称吉林珲春一村道出现一只野生东北虎。记者核实获悉，事发地位于杨泡满族乡。公开资料显示，该乡属于东北虎豹国家公园保护区范围，常见虎豹等动物。15日杨泡满族乡政府工作人员告诉记者，暂未发现老虎行踪，不排除已回山林，当地已提醒居民注意安全，暂无人员受伤报告。
