早前，苹果突然暂停在中国预售iPhone Air的开售，因此在iPhone 17系列首发日至今仍未有iPhone Air出售。 苹果宣布将于 10 月 17 日（周五）正式在中国预售 iPhone Air。
由于iPhone Air只有eSIM没有实体 SIM，早前苹果网站只列出中国联通提供 eSIM 服务，但其余电讯公司则没有列明。 而苹果官方网站现时指出，在监管部门批准后，中国移动、中国电信及中国联通会为iPhone Air提供eSIM支持。
