当地时间10月14日，美国总统特朗普向此前被枪杀的美国保守派活动人士查理·柯克追授总统自由勋章。
美国白宫宣布，特朗普签署公告，将当日（2025年10月14日）定为“查理·柯克国家纪念日”。据悉，这一天恰逢查理·柯克32岁生日。
总统自由勋章由美国总统一年颁发一次，与国会金质奖章并列为美国最高的平民荣誉。（央视新闻）
