本场比赛在迈阿密硬石球场进行，梅西手中拿着马黛茶，杯子为他与Stanley的联名款，与妻儿一起为阿根廷队加油。
此前据TyC报道，梅西缺席比赛的主要原因是教练组决定优先让他休息。考虑到体能负担，阿根廷国家队决定不让梅西出场，以避免其过度疲劳。
