本场比赛赛前亚特兰大也为队长德容恩举行了一个小型的庆祝仪式，庆祝他代表俱乐部出场超过400场，并向他送出了纪念球衣。
德容恩曾先后两次效力于亚特兰大，迄今共为球队出战402场，送出21球28助攻。
但较为遗憾的是，本场比赛德容恩因伤未能出战。
