据上海理工大学能动学院消息，10月3日，上海理工大学发布讣告：中国共产党党员，我国著名的热能工程专家，第五届、第六届全国人大代表，原上海机械学院（现上海理工大学）院长、教授、博士生导师陈之航同志因病于2025年10月3日14时40分在上海市华东医院逝世，享年98周岁。
