现年19岁的史密特是荷兰U21国家队的新星，他在上轮荷甲联赛中就已经因伤缺席，身体状况不佳。而现年34岁的老将队长克拉西则是在上轮荷甲联赛中被红牌罚下，同时也遭遇伤病。
此外，阿尔克马尔的主力射手帕洛特也受伤无法出战，这位爱尔兰射手本赛季荷甲2场3球，但因膝盖受伤缺席。
