澎湃新闻记者从财政部预算司官网获悉，王新祥已任财政部预算司司长。
公开资料显示，王新祥，男，汉族，1971年9月生，湖北洪湖人，中共党员，1996年8月参加工作，经济学硕士。
王新祥曾任财政部综合司副处长、处长，2015年9月起历任财政部预算司副司长、社会保障司副司长，财政部山东监管局党组书记、局长。他还曾挂职担任安徽六安市委常委、副市长。
