9月28日，国务院新闻办公室举行新闻发布会，介绍中秋国庆假期交通运输服务保障有关情况，并答记者问。交通运输部副部长李扬表示，自驾仍然是这次中秋国庆假期出行的主要方式，预计自驾出行将达到18.7亿人次，占出行总量的八成左右。
