9月16日，理想汽车官方宣布理想i6新形态五座SUV将在9月26日上市。新车采用一体式鲨鱼形态、上下双色车身设计；车长4.95m、车内纵向可用空间超3.3m；运用低风阻造型设计，可带来更低能耗、出色续航；辅以低重心设计，宣称“开起来收放自如”。理想官方此前称，理想i6是面向25万~30万元价格区间打造的全能产品，并将实现上市即交付。
