NBA薪资帽分析师Yossi Gozlan表示：“老鹰明年夏天很可能会放弃巴夫金26-27赛季的690万美元球队选项，这样做能在本赛季创造奢侈税灵活空间，但真正的重点是明年。这将为他们留下更多空间去处理丹尼尔斯和波尔津吉斯的续约问题。”
巴夫金上赛季为老鹰出战10场，场均可以得到5.3分2.1篮板1.7助攻。
