微软工程师开发新驱动
2025年9月5日，微软Xbox工程师Matthieu Bucchianeri发布了一款名为“Oasis Driver for Windows Mixed Reality”的免费驱动程序，成功让被微软放弃的Windows混合现实头显重新支持SteamVR平台。
驱动功能与限制
该驱动以微软内部代号“Oasis”命名，无需依赖微软官方的Mixed Reality Portal应用，即可通过SteamVR运行OpenVR和OpenXR应用程序。目前，该驱动仅兼容NVIDIA显卡，因AMD和Intel显卡驱动缺乏必要功能。
背景与开发动机
微软在2024年发布的Windows 11 24H2更新中突然终止了对Windows混合现实平台的支持，导致相关设备无法正常使用。Bucchianeri通过逆向工程NVIDIA和SteamVR代码独立开发了该驱动，但出于技术原因未开源。
用户获取方式
该驱动已在Steam平台免费提供，用户可下载并按照文档指引快速启用。这一解决方案为仍在使用Windows混合现实头显的用户提供了延续设备寿命的途径。
