铃木汽车社长铃木俊宏8月26日表示，公司将在未来五到六年内在印度投资7000亿卢比（约合80亿美元），以提高产量、推出新车型并巩固市场份额。
铃木俊宏称，玛鲁蒂铃木古吉拉特邦工厂计划年产能为100万辆。铃木拟将该厂作为其首款电动汽车——电动维特拉的全球生产中心，并向全球超100个国家出口。
