8月7日晚，在成都“天府之檐”举行的成都世运会开幕式上，中国体育代表团运动员挥舞着国旗入场。中国体育代表团此次派出321名运动员，参加28个大项、152个小项的比赛，是中国队参加世运会以来参赛项目最多、规模最大的一次，其中软式曲棍球、啦啦操、飞盘、摩托艇等12个大项为首次参赛。
