8月7日，河北省纪委监委发布消息，邯郸市委原常委、宣传部原部长杜树杰涉嫌严重违纪违法，目前正接受审查调查。

杜树杰出生于1965年2月，河北临漳人，曾任邯郸市丛台区区长、永年县委书记（撤县设区后为永年区委书记）等职。
2017年，其升任邯郸市副市长，后改任市委常委、宣传部部长，直至今年初卸任。
