8月3日，甘肃陇南西和县罗先生称儿子喂养的小猫被邻居小孩多次甩飞捶打致死。公共视频中，邻家小孩3次拧起小猫将其甩飞，并持工具多次捶打小猫。罗先生告诉记者，小猫是从外面捡回来的，已喂养了一段时间。
针对邻家小孩的施暴行为，对方表示是因当天睡午觉时被小猫吵醒。罗先生称，邻家小孩父母不在家由奶奶照顾，他希望家长能对小孩暴力行为及时制止和批评。
