现年25岁的谢尔彭是荷兰人，身高达到206cm，职业生涯起步于荷兰球队埃门，随后效力过布莱顿、阿贾克斯等强队，上赛季被租借到格拉茨风暴。
24/25赛季的奥地利甲级联赛中，谢尔彭出战30次，场均有2.6次扑救和1.1次高空出击。根据德转数据，谢尔彭的转会费为200万欧。
