据气象预报，7月24日起，内蒙古大部地区累计降水量超过100毫米，局地可达180毫米及以上，并伴有短时强降水、雷暴大风、冰雹等强对流天气。内蒙古自治区人工影响天气与气象灾害防御管理指挥部办公室决定于7月24日11时将暴雨气象灾害Ⅳ级应急响应升级为Ⅲ级应急响应。
