当地时间7月24日上午，泰国与柬埔寨在两国边境地区发生交火。
泰国陆军24日表示，当天早上，柬埔寨方面在边境地区率先开枪后，双方发生冲突。柬埔寨国防部发言人说，柬埔寨士兵24日在边境争议地区与泰国士兵发生冲突。
