据中国科学院高能物理研究所消息，位于北京怀柔科学城的大科学装置——高能同步辐射光源（HEPS）一期工程建设将于2025年底完成，启动试运行。为了尽快发挥大装置的能力，光源科研团队还同期推进后续建设规划，与科研用户、企业用户深度合作，推进光束线站持续建设，期待未来五年达到45条光束线站。（央视新闻）
